Music Education
Music education is about bringing people and music together.
Music education is often reduced to educational concert programs for children and young people—with the aim of counteracting an aging audience.
But music education is much more than that. Outreach begins with the people who are part of your ensemble and must be constantly considered as part of the musicians’ daily practice, as motivation, and as a vision reflected in formats and programs.
Music education means encounter: Individual concepts developed for your ensemble that allow for an encounter between the ensemble, its art, and the audience, characterized by curiosity and respect.

Dramaturgy is the foundation of a concert organization’s public image. It bridges the gap between art and the audience, navigating the tension between artistic focus and audience needs.
The central questions must be: Which concert formats and which programs should be presented to which audiences? How is accompanying information provided, and why?
Respect for the art and a focus on the audience’s needs are not mutually exclusive. Tailored specifically for your ensemble, we work together to develop formats that draw the audience beyond mere physical presence in the concert hall and awaken their curiosity and sense of adventure.

Anna-Lena Schuppe
Anna-Lena Schuppe sieht sich als Initiatorin und Motorin von innovativen Ideen des Konzertlebens. Für Sie ist die Vermittlung von Musik und Kultur eine künstlerische Grundhaltung, die immer wieder durchdacht und neu gestaltet werden soll. Mit Leidenschaft stellt sie sich der Herausforderung, neue und kreative Wege in der musikalischen Kulturlandschaft anzustoßen.
Als ausgebildete Sängerin, Schulmusikerin und erfahrene Musikvermittlerin ist sie in der Lage, Prozesse künstlerisch, strukturell, dramaturgisch, systemisch und im Kontext der aktuellen Konzert- und Theaterszene zu initiieren und zu begleiten. Aktuell leitet sie die Musikvermittlung des Theater Freiburg und des Philharmonischen Orchester Freiburg.
Georg Schuppe
Georg Schuppe has been the cultural dramaturgical lead at Seehund Media for several years. He is passionately committed to the vision of a programming and dramaturgy shaped by reciprocity in the form of a shared concert experience between audience and musicians.
As an active musician, he is familiar with both the publicly funded orchestral landscape (including the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestras) and the independent scene (including the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, Musica Aeterna Brugge, and IEMA). Furthermore, as part of his active chamber music career, he dedicates himself to the organization and implementation of innovative concert series and concert formats.
